This winter I made the diving trip of a lifetime. After a difficult year I decided it was time to live my life a little bit differently starting with a well deserved holiday just for me!

I started surfing the web for Fiji diving resorts and holiday packages that included diving trips on the Fiji reefs since I'm a total diving madman and I found some great deals for Nadi, a popular tourist destination on the island of Viti Levy and a loved place with divers.

This February I went on a holiday to New Zealand to visit Auckland, the capital city and the largest city on the Northern Island.

Auckland is also known as the City of Sails and looking out over the Westhaven Marina, you understand why the city is called this way. The harbour of Auckland is filled with hundreds of docked sail boats and yachts that it has become a national symbol.

In July of 2009 me and my wife went on a honeymoon to the Federated States of Micronesia, where we stayed on the island of Pohnpei where Palikir, the capital of the Federated States of Micronesia is located.

Eventhough Palikir is the capital city of the Federated States of Micronesia most tourists stay in and around Kolonia, the largest city on the Pohnpei Island, and so did we.

The Republic of Kiribati is an island national which consists of more than 30 atolls all situated in the Pacific Ocean. The capital of Kiribati can be found on the Tarawa atoll and is known as South Tarawa.

To get to Kiribati we flew from Aucklang to Fiji and after a short stop here we continued our way to the Bonriki International Airport in the southeastern tip of Tarawa.
