From New Caledonia we travelled to Vanuatu where we landed in Port Vila, the capital of the Vanuatu and situated on the island of Efate.

We had a good flight and an even better landing at the airport where a local band welcomed us and the other visitors to the island. We decided to stay for three days in Port Vila and booked at a guesthouse in town.

We arrived exhausted, to find our Penthouse cottage all set up with lots of extras not expected after a long trip.

The indoor jacuzzi with the big bay window with views forever, in the penthouse cottage at Spa Views Maleny was just what we needed and to lounge around watch the beautiful sunsets before retiring in the wonderful comfort of a king bed.

We were going to cook our own...

River view from Nature's Window, Kalbarri Kalbarri Australia Oceania

The river gorges of Kalbarri National Park are a popular touristic hot spot and known for its amazing lookouts and beautiful rock sculptures.

Maybe one of the most photographed places would be Nature's Window, a spectacular rock arch at The Loop which frames an amazing view capturing the river and the valley below.

To get to The Loop you need to prepare yourself and carry enough drinking water, some sandwiches, a full tank and a map or guide of the area.

From town you can just follow Ajana Kalbarri Road untill you reach the Kalbarri National Park turn off....
