From Klagenfurt Airport KLU: Distance to Blue Mountain Hotel is 40 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive. Getting there. Buses depart from the airport and run to the main train station in Klagenfurt every 30 minutes between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Trains then run regularly from Klagenfurt to Villach. From Villach bus and train station, bus no. 5150 runs hourly to Afritz am See. Alight at the Verditz Bergbahnen, and take the chair lift to lift station 3. The chair lift is available in the winter and summer seasons from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. The Blue Mountain Hotel is 150 metres down from the lift. Transfers or hire cars are available. Take the A98 in the direction of Gerlitzen, Verditz, Radenthein, andor Spital to Afritz. At Afritz turn left at the Verditz signpost.
