Nice and practical hotel in Taupo with good parking facilities. Our room was tidy, clean and had a nice city view. The Point View Lodge has an ok location but we used our car most of the time to get from one place to another so I wouldn't know about the public transport network. We did see a lot of buses driving around in the city centre so I guess the different attractions are pretty good connected.

The Commodore Court Motel was a pretty good choice and it had all the comforts we needed. The personelle at the reception was welcoming and helpful. They provided all kinds of brochures and helped us plan some excursions. The Commodore Court Motel is good budget option.

We went to Tauranga to celebrate our anniversary and decided to book a superior room at the Hart Lodge. The room was well decorated in bright colours and had all the comforts a hotel could offer. Beautiful bath room with a large bath tub and a big bed with a lot of fluffy pillows. I didn't want to leave!
