One of the reasons of our stay in Milan was the planned visit to the MACEF Fair held in the last week of January 2012. This is a great opportunity for retailers to meet with new suppliers and discover exciting new brands.

The MACEF Fair or International Home Show was a great place for me and my collegues to see new collections and meet with important people in the industry.

Travel Guide Milano

We stayed at the Domina Inn Hotel which was a great hotel for this occasion and I will post some pictures in a following blog. As for the MACEF one of the brands that we simply fell in love with was Invotis in Hall 5.

Invotis is a Dutch brand and they have some of the most exciting and renewing gadgets (some of very original American design) which really brighten up a home and design collection like the one our company represents.

I added some different pictures of the MACEF Fair and the different stands as well. As for Invotis we will be meeting them at the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt next weekend which will be the largest fairs in the home decorating and design industry so we are already looking forward to a great shopping experience there!

In Milan the next fair will be hosted in September 2012 and on one of my pictures below you will be able to find the exact date!

Where to stay in Milano: Domina Inn Hotel

What to do in Milano: Take a look at new brands, such as the Invotis stand which really appealed to us. We also plan to visit the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt.

Where to eat in Milano: At the Hotel, but also Armani Restaurant in the centre of Milan, or 12Volte in Novate Milanese at about 4 km from the hotel. All by Taxi.
