This was a picture perfect hotel outside of Milan and located in Novate Milanese which was great for us while visiting the MACEF Fair 2012 but of course way to far from the centre if you´re planning on staying for a holiday in Milan.

The cab ride from the aiport will cost you about 70 euro and staying at this design hotel can be expensive if you will be needing to travel by taxi during your entire stay.

One of the reasons of our stay in Milan was the planned visit to the MACEF Fair held in the last week of January 2012. This is a great opportunity for retailers to meet with new suppliers and discover exciting new brands.

The MACEF Fair or International Home Show was a great place for me and my collegues to see new collections and meet with important people in the industry.

During a short holiday in Milan me and my collegues visited the Armani Restaurant Nobu and had a fabulous Japanese dinner. The restaurant is known to be pretty classy and visited by the rich and famous.

The food was great although the service lacked that same class and elegance Armani seems to stand for. Maybe because we weren't from Milan..

One of the restaurants in Rome that I would like to suggest in the centre is Orso 80 a great trattoria, or hostaria like the sign outside the restaurant read with real italian food.

They had great found, excellent service and we were given bread and fritters from the owner which was really generous.

During our holiday in Rome we stayed at this excellent H10 Hotel. We booked the hotel online and had found a great dealing, paying just 55 euro's per night. On tripadvisor the hotel had nothing but good reviews except maybe for the location which we didn't even find to be that bad.

The hotel was very modern, design hotel and very clean with excellent service and staff. Hotel parking is possibile at a cost of 12 euro's a day but there was enough parking space outside, just in front of the hotel as well.
