The Cinque Terre can be found in the north of Italy in the region of Liguria which is one of the most beautiful coastal areas and also known as the Italian Riviera.

Earlier this year I also went to Rome with a couple of friends, just to enjoy a little holiday. Rome is the perfect city if you ask me and especially in the historic centre there's just so much to see.

We had a great time and a lot of fun flirting with the carabinieri police officers, shopping and of course eating our way through Rome!

This February we drove to the south of Italy for a week in Alberobello, a beautiful region in the province of Bari in Puglia.

Alberobello is known for its trulli or capanne which are turned into a popular real estate business but can also be rented for the holidays like we did.

In January of this year we made a trip to Naples which lies on the Tyrrhenian Coast so to get there from Pescara where we live we had to drive across the country first.

Naples is a beautiful city with a lot of characteristic places to eat, shop or simply people watch.

One of my favourite places in Naples is definately the bay area where you can both shop at some of the best designer boutiques and taste some of Naples famous food like a Caprese Salad...

In October I went to Siena on a fieldtrip with my classmates and we had a lot of fun there.

It was a shame we went there after the palio because witnessing this traditional feast would have made our stay in Siena even better.

We had ok weather but a bit chilly so I would love to return to Siena in springtime or even summer.
