Krabi Thailand

From Langkawi, in the south of Malaysia, we travelled up north and crossed the border with Thailand.

We headed to the Krabi Province, a popular travel destination on the west coast of southern Thailand and the gateway to a lot of nice beaches and islands.

In Krabi we stayed at the Sunda Beach Resort and our room was really nice with towels hand folded in the shape of an elephant on our beds and fresh flowers at the entrance.

There are a lot of nice things to do in Thailand's Krabi Province and there are a lot of local travel agencies around to help you pick...

Bangkok Thailand

Together with my sister I have been on a backpacking holiday in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.

After a 12 hour flight we started our journey in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand and the gateway for many travellers on a holiday in Asia.

Bangkok is a beautiful city and a perfect mixture between hospitality, chaos, tradition and modern culture.

Wat Bupparam has a beautiful white and golden chedi and a decorated temple made of teak and decorated in the old Lanna style. The temple was built by Burmese artisans who immigrated to Chiang Mai.

Luckily there was a market at the beginning of the street...

In Bangkok you'll find some of the most amazing temples and statues like the Reclining Buddha which is jaw dropping. From the capital I travelled also to the islands...

The airport of Ko Samui, Thailand. Ko Phangan

Our trip to Thailand lasted 12 days, not too much but enough to see a lot of great things and discover a part of this amazing country.

We took a direct flight to Bangkok where we stayed the first two days.

In and around Bangkok we visited the beautiful temples and of course the famous floating market.

From Bangkok we travelled to Ko Samui,...
