Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan Middle East

The K2 the world's second-highest mountain on earth is part of the Karakoram Range which lies parly in Pakistan and partly in China with the last itinerary being the hardest one.

The Gilgit-Baltistan area is the more common route for K2 Mountain treks as it is less hazardous alternative for reaching the peak of 28,251 feet! Only Mt. Everest is higher.

This is definately a trek that is to be taken very serious and only accessibile for professional hikers with above average health conditions.

In Wadi Ramm we stayed at a authentic desert camp which is one of my best memories to Jordan as we went on camel rides, slept in tents and had two nights of bbq fun with all our fellow travellers.

During the tour we could go on more or less extra activities like the hot air balloon ride over the valley of Wadi Ramm, or Wadi Rum, like others call it.

Fujairah United Arab Emirates Fujairah United Arab Emirates Middle East

On the opposite coast of the United Arab Emirates we find the city of Fujairah located on the Gulf of Oman instead of the Persian Gulf like are Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The Fujairah International Airport is near the city but if you are driving into Fujairah from Dubai like I was then it might be taking in consideration to spend at least a few days there because of the two hour drive.

The...
