Ko Lipe is a true paradise for people who like to slow down, relax on the beach and enjoy drinks and good food on the beach. There are no ATM's or supermarkets on the island, just little shops and restaurants.

The Xieng Khuan Buddha Park is located, just past the Friendship Bridge and 25 km southeast of Vientiane, the capital of Laos.

The park is popular with tourists because it houses a 40 meter reclining Buddha, the largest cement statue in Laos. Other attractions in the Buddha Park include statues of gods, animals, humans and other characters that have a high symbolic value in the Hindu and Buddhist religions.

From Vientiane you can get to the Buddha Park by tuk tuk which will cost you about 700 bht

The entrance fee will cost you 5000 Kip which is about 0,60 US...
