Harbor Ile de Goree Ile de Goree Senegal Africa

Ile de Goree is a beautiful island near Dakar which unfortunately was known too long for its brutal past. Today the island is showing a different side and many tourists are willing to explore the local grounds.

The island of Ile de Goree was known as one of the first European settlements to play a big role in the Atlantic slave trade, a past which is still visible today.

What was also fantatic was that it was walking distance to the supermarkets,pubs...

The resort I stayed at was called the Dream Lagoon and had an impeccable service.

Every morning I started the day with a rich fruits and sweets breakfast which was delicious. The resort had an all inclusive formula so all drinks,...
